Signing in with Google

When you continue with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use them only to create your account and keep you signed in. We don't read your contacts, Gmail, Drive or anything else in your Google account, we don't sell this data, and we don't use it for advertising.

What you tell us

• Your city, which we store along with the coordinates of its centre.
• Your answers during setup: usual daily earnings, experience level, style, and your usual spot if you add one.
• The forecasts you generate: the recommended place, the estimate, and the text written for it.

Your location

If you allow location access, your browser sends your position when you ask for a forecast. We use it for that request to find busy places near you, and we don't store it.

Share links

Every forecast gets its own link. Anyone with the link can see that forecast: the place name, the estimate and your rank. It doesn't show your name, email or location.

Beggar University

The University beta needs no account. We store the job title and statement you submit, your email if you choose to give it, and a one-way scrambled version of your IP address so we can limit how often one person can apply. We can't turn the scrambled value back into your IP.

Services that process data for us

• Supabase: sign-in and database.
• Google Maps Platform: finding places and traffic near the location you send.
• OpenAI: writing the forecast text and University replies. It receives place names, stats and job titles, never your name or email.
• Vercel: hosting.

Cookies

We use one sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. No ad or tracking cookies.

Deleting your data

Email hello@dreambeg.lol from the address you signed in with and we'll delete your account, profile and forecasts. You can also remove DreamBeg's access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
